Kumulsoft’s Vision and Early Foundations
Kumulsoft’s journey toward delivering a cutting-edge Asset platform has been driven by a clear vision to enhance transparency, control, and efficiency in asset management across PNG’s government and institutional sectors.
Beginning between 2009 and 2015, we laid the foundation with meticulous design and architecture planning to address operational gaps. By 2016, this vision began to take shape as government departments and private organizations adopted our Fixed Asset Management System (FAMS), benefiting from improved oversight and accountability.
Building on Success: Platform Refinement and Expansion
Building on this success, we continuously refined the platform over the years to support asset visibility and streamlined tracking for clients such as the Department of Prime Minister & NEC, Department of Treasury, Magisterial Services, the University of Goroka, and various State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). Furthermore, recognizing the need for greater accessibility and scalability, we embarked on developing a secure, cloud-based version of FAMS in 2024.
This new SaaS platform was designed for multi-agency deployment, offering flexible, rapid onboarding, customizable modules, and real-time dashboards, therefore further aligning with our goal to make asset management more transparent, accessible, and efficient across PNG.

Looking ahead, in November 2025, we will proudly launch the SaaS version of the FAMS on the PNG Government Cloud, marking a significant milestone in our digital transformation journey. Specifically, the platform features self-service onboarding, modular deployment options, and customizable dashboards, enabling agencies to adapt swiftly to evolving operational needs. Moreover, its intuitive interface and seamless integration capabilities have enhanced user experience and operational efficiency, with early adopters experiencing significant improvements in asset oversight and transparency
